Dear Friends of the EBC,<\/p>\n

As you are most likely aware of, the daily cap of people allowed to enter Japan has recently been raised to 7,000<\/strong>. This limit includes all entries, newly arrivals as well as Japanese citizens and foreign residents. This limit might be raised to 10,000 in April<\/strong>. The EBC put together a document summarising the latest rules<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The EBC worked very hard for an easing of the border restrictions<\/strong> during the past months, and we are grateful for all the support we received in this regard. If you are running into any problems, we would very much like to hear from you<\/strong>. This also includes issues related to the daily cap.<\/p>\n

On March 14th, 31.2% of Japan\u2019s population has gotten their third booster shot.
\nIn case you didn\u2019t receive yet your vaccination voucher, the German Chamber of Commerce in Japan<\/a><\/strong> offers you an opportunity to be vaccinated<\/a> thanks to their partner Rakuten.<\/p>\n

Finally, we would like to inform you about two webinars<\/strong> organised by the BLCCJ<\/u><\/a> and the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We are pleased to inform you about the possibility of a booster vaccination through our partner Rakuten and like to share the following details with you. This vaccination campaign is part of the COVID-19 occupational vaccination program under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW). We have tied-up with Rakuten this time and reserved capacities for 1.500 persons.<\/p>\n
