We have been busy this week!<\/p>\n

On 28 February<\/strong>, Kreab Japan and the EBC co-hosted an event featuring Mr Carl Bildt<\/strong>, Vice Chairman, Kreab Worldwide, Co-Chair of the European Council on Foreign Relations, former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Sweden. He gave a presentation on “How Global Businesses Can Respond to Today’s Geopolitical Volatility”. <\/strong>Drawing on his extensive experience in the EU and the UN, Mr Bildt analysed today’s geopolitical challenges, including the war in Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East, and discussed how global businesses can best respond to the rapidly changing landscape.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

On 29 February<\/strong>, the EBC held its 2024\u00a0<\/strong>White Paper<\/strong> launch<\/strong><\/a> at the EU Delegation, an important event for stakeholders in the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement.\u00a0The EBC would like to warmly thank all speakers and committees for their contributions to its 2024 White Paper. On 4 March, the Delegation of the European Union to Japan celebrated the 5th year anniversary of the entry into force of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) <\/strong>with a series of speeches, the presentation of a business survey, a panel discussion on the practical business benefits of the agreement and a networking event.
