Networking Reception with Mr. Andrea Caroni, <\/strong>President of the Council of States (Upper House) of the Swiss Parliament<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 28 August, the EBC joined the Swiss-Japanese business community for a special reception at the Residence of H.E. Roger Dubach, Ambassador of Switzerland to Japan, on the occasion of the official visit of Mr. Andrea Caroni, President of the Swiss Council of States, with a high-level delegation.<\/p>\n

The evening featured sector pitches from five Swiss companies in Japan and insights from a Japanese company investing in Switzerland, highlighting innovation, bilateral cooperation, and future opportunities. In 2024, Switzerland became Japan\u2019s 7th largest investor, while Japan remains Switzerland\u2019s 9th most important investment partner, reflecting deepening economic ties.<\/p>\n

The EBC thanks the Embassy of Switzerland and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCIJ) for their kind invitation and warm hospitality.<\/p>\n
