On 20 April 2023, the EBC President Michael Mroczek handed over the 2022 EBC White Paper to H.E. Paweł Milewski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Japan.
On 2 June, from 10:00 to 11:30am, the EBC Automotive Components Committee will arrange an event on BYD’s challenge to the Japanese Market – Atsuki Tofukuji on their Strategy.
In January, Chinese automaker BYD began selling their electric line-up in Japan. Amidst strong competition in the fourth largest auto market, China’s top EV seller harbors global ambitions. What is their strategy in Japan’s nascent EV arena and how do they plan to differentiate themselves? The president of their Japanese sales subsidiary, Atsuki Tofukuji, will share his thoughts from their location in Yokohama.
