Dear Friends of the EBC,
For the past two years, except for a few short periods, the entry ban has continued to affect many foreign and Japanese companies. The EBC, the ACCJ and the IBA (International Bankers Association of Japan) published yesterday a new joint statement urging Japan to quickly adopt a science-based entry policy.In parallel to this publication, the EBC is launching a Survey, kindly provided by the German Chamber of Commerce in Japan, that will be distributed through the EBC Chambers of Commerce. The objective is to obtain data related to foreign personnel (expats or short-term businesspeople) and investment amounts currently at stake that will be used for lobbying purposes.
